I'm 20, but I'm completely new to dating. I figure that most people learn this stuff in highschool, but I didn't. So how's it work?

Thanks for helping a guy out.

PS - I'm not BS'ing you, I've been on one date (last month, she came onto me by the way) and the whole experience of talking with the girl ended in her being impregnated by another guy and becoming engaged to him without letting me know.

the way you ask a girl out can turn a girl on, or competely off.
i get asked out alot, but i don't say yes to everyone. i think that you
should flirt frist, and then ask a girl out because you need to show them that you like them.

I agree - start with simple things - even going out for coffee first will do. Don't do movies though - you cannot talk and get to know one another in the movies. Don't be scared to ask a girl out - she won't bite (usually) and she can only say yes or no - if she says yes you hit the jackpot - if she says no you try again elsewhere. Don't get discouraged - most guys won't tell you this but at least 90% of guys get turned down about 90% of the time. You just try again !

i get asked out a lot but i don't go on 99.9% of the date offers. Mainly because the guys approach was all wrong.
i don't think that you have to know the person at all to ask them out on a date. if you see a girl that you would like to get to know, don't use a tacky pick up line or anything. tell her something like "sorry for bothering you, but i think you are so beautiful and i was wondering if you would want to go out sometime."
never tell a girl that you don't know that she is "hot" or "sexy". tell her that she is beautiful and gorgeous. girls appreciate that much more, trust me.
but just be confident in yourself and no matter what don't feel stupid. if you tried your best and you were sincere and they still don't take up your offer, then it's their loss.
best of luck!!!
