i guess not all the books were written by the same person...something like you know the story as it unfolds...but you try to remember how it started...so a few pronunciations ans spelling were changed....i guess....you see...one miss spelled word...could have made the Bible different than what it really means.

Again, it wasn't important for the Jews to relate every single parent. Besides, the fact that there are different names goes to show that the Bible was not "edited". If it was edited and altered, the editors would have "taken out" those "errors" that skeptics were pointing at. But they left them because there is no real error.

Besides, does your entire salvation depend on who Jeroboam's mother was? I bet you don't even believe there was a Jeroboam.

See 1 Kings 15:2

His mother’s name was Maachah - Or Michaiah

The daughter of Abishalom - Absalom seems to have had but one daughter, Tamar 2 Sa 14:27, so that Maachah must have been, not his daughter, but his grand-daughter. Her father was Uriel of Gibeah whom, therefore, Tamar married. Maachah took her name from her great-grandmother 2 Sa 3:3.

Pretty tough but a good 1.
I myself have 2 ask it to my dad.
It'll take 1 or 2 days.
But for now all i can do is give u a simple answer that his mother was none other than his father's wife.

Looks like tomatoes/tomatos to me. who can say that one is not the derivative of the other? Maybe you should pray about such an important matter and tell us?
