I'm not a christian, but I can answer. Like many fundementalist churches they ignore the teachings of their christ, and only rely on the savagery of the old testement to fuel their hatred and intolerance.

Atheism. You know it makes sense.

I don't know what churches in Nigeria have been doing. Is it just refusing communion to an openly gay person,or brutal treatment and killing?
Brutal treatment and killing are definitely wrong. They aren't following the teachings of Jesus at all.
