Ok, so I like this guy who is a little over 12 years older than me (I'm 22). We've been good friends for a while now, but for the past year I've liked him. We went out a couple of times, just the two of us to lunch and to dinners and stuff. We've also had many long conversations on the phone as well as in person (one went on for 4 hours... until about 4 a.m.) many of them talking about relationships and about some of our deepest secrets about our lives. The confusing thing is, we kinda stopped hanging out like we did, but he still shows the signs that he did before (smiling at me, making me laugh, standing close to one another, catching him looking at me, flirting back whenever I flirt.... things like that). I honestly think his friends have been saying negative things about me... which is another bump in the road for me. So now my question is...

Does this guy like me? And if so, what should I do about this situation? How do I go and make the next step without scaring him?

he probably likes you, have the age difference ever came up in your conversations? maybe he feels you are too young? the only way you will know is if you ask him, let him know how you feel i find that most men like when women are upfront. and if he say no than nothing lost right. you will still be friends, men that age don't scare off too easy

Just don't do anything. Here's the thing if he really likes you he will make a move I know sometimes we women we tend to be ourselves we are very showy of what we feel and we are practically very obvious about it. Very transparent about our feelings. Just let him be, be mysterious in some way just let him do the stuff just don't mind him at all if he says hi then go if he talks to you let him make all the moves. Trust me he will ask what has gotten into you? Really, he will, but then just be simple. Sometimes men do like mysterious women just don't be obvious that you like him. Just let him be.......Good Luck!

I am going to give a negative and positive answer....
+ He could be afraid of telling you his feelings because he might feel like you wouldnt wanna date a man of his age. You should confront him and tell him how you feel. Im sure your friendship is strong enough to handle that bombshell.

- His friends are already a bump in the road and if you must date it might be a tug of war....

He might not realize just how much you like him. Make it obvious to him. Make the first move. Someone has to and since you want him, might as well be you. Not many of us guys woudl turn down an attractive woman who is interested enough in us to make the first move. Just make it big and make it obvious.

U may be urged by your feelings to make the first move but sister, men always want to make the first the move no matter how they may seem not to care but believe me its true.
