I'm in the USA so I don't get the Mirror. (Or any paper with a Page 3 girl. either)
However...people (USA or UK) always want the fast buck (quid) and there will always be people (suckers) who are willing to hand over their hard earned cash.
I have smart people who tell me about some outlandish scheme they were introduced to and my response is often "Sounds like a scam!! "

I'm afraid so. My daughter got scammed for $3500 even after I repeatedly told her it was money laundering at the very least. She wouldn't listen to me and got snapped; lost her rent and food money for the month and she has 2 small kids at home and another on the way so Mom had to bail her out so she could survive for the month. In short, yep, people can be easily duped. Sorry!!! No, they will never learn!!! Thanks for asking!!!!

Fools and their money are easily parted. As is evidenced by the fact that people still buy the Daily Mirror.

I believe that was some kind of an e-mail scam... I think I've got one of them too.
There not stupid. Just not computer/Internet savvy.
About 6 years ago, I got an e-mail titled "Last night was amazing! I just want to...."
...the thought of "How the hell did she get my e-mail" came second.
First thought: "Damn I'm good"... and clicked to open.
And yes, effing worm just completely messed up my computer.

Just shows how gullible some people are, even in this age...Their greed for money blankets out their sense of reasoning.

Just because he's a businessman doesn't mean he can't be stupid. If it's too good to be true it usually isn't, is not a difficult rule you would think?
