Because people are lost on their right way. They need to believe, they want to believe. Remember when you were like five and thought Santa really exists? Didn't that make you feel good- an old jolly man the embodiment of goodness visiting you yearly, giving you presents by considering your best wishes? That's the matter with religious people- they really feel compelled to believe even if sometimes they are far from the truth. If people would have more consideration for others and stop being so unreasonable there would not be so many divergences all around the world.

Thomas - Thomas - Thomas ... why must you doubt ? My brother-in-law is a Doctor [Professor] of Nuclear Physics, with a photographic memory. He is also, a Christian has proved there is a for real - GOD and has proven the authenticity of the 2 Books of the Holy Bible ! Not a "dumb religious follower" by no stretch of the imagination - believe me ! And NO - the Bible is not a concoction of fairy tales !!!
