I have had a natural delivery after a caesarean and my first child was 21/2 when i went for it also, my second delivery was amazing although i was monitored very closely for signs that the wound was in trouble, i only had gas and air too, such a difference from my caesarean where i was unconcious as it was an emergency! e-mail me if you have any questions id be delighted to advise you im training to be a midwife also xxx

I don't know what the rationale was for a caesarean section with your first child. Whether it was breech or suffering respiratory distress etc. In theory it is possible for your second child to be born naturally, provided that there is no medical reason that prevents this. Your gynaecologist is the person best placed to answer your question.

I have heard that it is possible to have a natural birth after having 1 C-section but I know after 2 if you get pregnant a third time I think they want to do a c-section automatically. and it also depends on the size of the baby, the reason you had to have C-section the first time.

Yes you can .. have you heard of vbac ? vaginal birth after caesarean .. its not impossible .. my friends first baby was born by section as she was breech and the following year she delivered a 9lb12oz baby vaginally ..(within 12 months , both girls are August babies ) She had Maegan in August and accidentaly fell pregnant again in November ..

it is possible to have a VBAC, it depends however on the type of incision that was made internally. If your uterus was cut vertically then you will have to have a c-section with each child. These type of incisions though are rarely done anymore. I would definetly discuss it with your doc and see what there opinion is.

yes you can have a natural delivery with ya 2nd as long as all is well.My sister was fine and she had section first and then a normal delivery with 2nd. Any concerns then speak to your midwife....good luck.

as far as i know u, once you had a caeserian with the first child then u must have the same with the other kids...
