I have a friend that has a crush on this girl but she gives him the cold shoulder because he reminds her of an abusive ex by physical appearance only but she'll always treat him nice when she wants something from him & after words, it's back to her treating him badly. From what he tells me, She’ll insult him or no reason, Say or do certain things that will get him upset & she'll only focus on his negative attributes to excess her feelings about him. I know his experience with this girl is really going to hurt his confidence on meeting women in the future. It's really sad & pathetic that some people will judge & treat someone badly like that before really getting to know them, while playing sociological games for kicks. Can someone give me any advice on what to tell him?

"Why Do Some Girls Reject Guys Before Getting To Know Them?" Because that is the females perogative. Just because a guy WANTS to get to know a girl doesn't mean she HAS to want the same thing. The only advice I have is for him to grow up.

The sooner he forgets her and moves on, the better - they just aren't meant to be together. People usually need less then 2 minutes to make their judgments about others, and usually this first impression is really hard to break, although it may be very wrong. But we all do it - getting to know somebody takes time and emotions and this first impression makes us decide whether all this relationship will be worth the time. So I guess that girl has already made her decision, and the best thing your friend can do is just move on, because otherwise these attempts to get her attention may hurt him a lot.

Tell him that he is in an abusive relationship and he needs to get away from this girl posthaste. Keep in mind though that just because you can see her games, it doesn't mean that he can. Try to point it out gently and start contradicting all the nasty things she says to him. if she's bringing down his self confidence then you as a friend should be building it back up again. For the moment, i suggest ignoring this evil girl and focussing on helping your friend deal with the affects she has on him. In time he'll realise that she's a cow and he'll do the right thing for himself.

I think you're worried too much, I mean since it is your "Friend" and all. Lol, what a classic. I think she's flirting to be honest. She may not want to be more than friends. I fell in love (or what I thought was love) with this girl who only wanted to be my friend and I'm glad as hell she didn't fall for me now. She's like 90 lbs, after having a baby at the age of 15.. Looks like she's into drugs really bad. But hey, don't worry women are good at games. We just gotta pretend we don't care and they'll forget about it. :>

i think the friend need to step back at least for a while. as long as he keeps putting himself out there like that she will keep on treating him that way. she is still hung up on her ex and and everyone will have to pay for his mistakes. i know it is hard to turn away from crushes... but she is damaged goods and will be that way for a while. your friend can still be supportive to her, but when she starts insulting him, he needs to tell her how she is acting, remind her that he didn't hurt her, and disappear for a while... eventually she will come to ...

a guy shouldn't even ask a woman out until eventually they communicate for particularly a mutually as and seem clicking properly. in actuality, it is solid to speak for some days or perhaps weeks on purpose or the telephone. a guy shouldn't in any respect ask a woman out according to looks. adult adult males like that are immediately categorized as "shallow".

Please tell him that he doesn't desurve to be treated this way,and he can find someone that will treat him nice.Maybe she is confused about what she feels/wants to do in this relationship.Because of the past,and doesn't want to get hurt.But some how I think she is using your friend,and maybe even "punishing"him for how the other guy treated her.

Some girls like that they can manipulate men, often in cruel ways. It makes them feel powerful. Tell your friend to stay away from this girl.

If the girl is insulting your friend for no reason...
I don't see any reason for him to go after her.

it changes according to the way approching . this is not for all girls.
