It is not only Muslims that questioned the authenticity of the Bible. There are other non-Christians and some Christians who don't believed that the current Bible is the true and unadulterated Bible of Jesus.
I was told that Muslims should not deny or affirm the sanctity of the Bible. In the Qur'an (the Muslim Holy Book), followers of Christianity and Judaism were called People of the Book. The Book may refer to the Old and New Testaments.
Undeniably, there will be many scholars who can provide scientific evidence that showed today's Bible to be the same as during the Prophet Muhammad's time. On the other hand, there are also scientific evidence from many scholars that disproved the validity of the current Bible.
Pertaining to the crucifixion of Jesus, this matter is subjected to lengthy debate. Most Christians believed that Jesus died on the cross. Muslims don't believe that is so. The rejection of Jesus' crucifixion by Muslims has no impact on the Islamic system of beliefs. Muslims are not Jesus-centric nor Muhammad-centric. Muslims are God-centric.
The five pillars of Islam are:
1. Testimony (declaration) of faith.
2. Ritual prayer.
3. Obligatory almsgiving for the poor.
4. Fasting from dawn to dusk.
5. Pilgrimage to Mecca (if able).
The six articles of belief are:
1. Monotheism (Oneness of God).
2. Prophets and Messengers (inclusive of Jesus).
3. Divine Scriptures.
4. Angels.
5. Judgment Day.
6. Fate and Destiny.
The Bible and the crucifixion may be important to Christians but to non-Christians it has no major impact. As Christians tend to regard Jesus as 'God', it is probably essential to believe in the crucifixion as one of the tenets of Christianity. Should the crucifixion of Jesus be proven false, it would shake the foundation of Christianity.
But why crack your head on such matters? Believe in what you feel is right. Accept that there are divergent views and paths to enlightenment. We are capable of thinking and deciding rationally.

No today's Bible is really not true. Most of its contents are false verses. The only most likely with the holy Qur'an is Barnabas' Bible which is not used by christians. At the Muhammad pbuh time Bible has been changed by dirty hands so it is not original from Allah as has been given through Isa Almasih. In the genuine Bible there is a verse that stated after Isa Almasih will come Ahmad (Muhammad the last prophet )who will bring new religion that is Islam for all humans. This verse is deleted..Irene Handone formerly a catholic made a research and she published a book called Islam Claimed .In her book she told that most of 90% of Bible's verses are false. In the holy Qur'an (see Surah 3 Ali Imran,Surah 4 An Nisaa and Surah 9 Matyam) Allah spoke that Jesus was not the son of God.Holy spirit was Gabriel angel.Allah has no son and no parents. There is no trinity.Every one has responsible to their doings (bad and good).Jesus did not bear the sins of his followers. It is logic.Jesus did not died on the cross. He was saved by Allah and he was replaced by someone who had the same appearance with Jesus.Your scientific evidence is not valid. Please study the holy Qur'an and the Sahih Hadeth collected by Bukhari Muslim and other Islamic books which are written by Muslim Scholars. We really believe on the genuity of our holy Qur'an.which is guaranteed by Allah.

No. This is because, we Muslims knows that the content of actual True Bible ( the OLD Bible) had been tampered and changed. As such, ALLAH had replace the Old Bible with AlQuran Al Kareem. To protect Alquran, Allah had challenged the unbelievers to rewrite something similar to the Alquran. Allah knew no one will ever able to write something, Not similar, not even closer to the Alquran. Thus, the Alquran has never been tampered or change even for just one single word. However, there are many changes in today's Bible. As such, it is called as New Testament - the new version.

The big difference between Islam and Christianity is that the Bible claims Jesus is the SON OF GOD.
Islam says otherwise.
They say that Jesus was just a prophet, although very respected.
Not recognising that Jesus IS the son of God will cost them dearly. But at the hand of God, not by the hand of any Christian.
(Matthew 3:17) Look! Also, there was a voice from the heavens that said: “This is my Son, the beloved, whom I have approved.”
(Mark 5:7) and, when he had cried out with a loud voice, he said: “What have I to do with you, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I put you under oath by God not to torment me.”
Even the demons know that Jesus is God's son.

Because quran is the book we have been ordered to follow...yes we believe that certain things are changed in the bible and we r ordered to believe in "injeel" not the bible....
JESUS (PBUH) SAID, "THE DAY THAT I DIE", NOT "THE DAY THAT I DIED"
It is mentioned in Surah Maryam, Chapter 19 verse 33
"So Peace is on me the day I was born, the day that I die and the Day that I shall be raised up to life (again)".
[Al-Qur’an 19:33]
The Qur’an mentions that Jesus (pbuh) said "Peace is on me the Day I was born, the day that I die". It is not stated "the day that I died". It is in the future tense and not in the past tense.
1. JESUS (PBUH) WAS RAISED UP ALIVE
The Qur’an further says in Surah Nisa, Chapter 4 verse 157-158:
"That they said (in boast), ‘We killed Jesus Christ the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah’ – But they killed him not, Nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not –
Nay, Allah raised him up unto Himself; and Allah is exalted in Power, Wise."
[Al-Qur’an 4:157-158]

Very smart, yes the Bible hasn't been changed since Muhammad (pbuh),but it was corrupted long before he came,if it hadn't been corrupted,Muhammad (pbuh) wouldn't have ever been sent to correct it.WHAT I MEAN IS THAT MUHAMMAD (PBUH) CAME ONLY BECAUSE THE BIBLE WAS CORRUPTED,BECAUSE GOD WOULDN'T HAVE LEFT US WITH A CORRUPTED BOOK TO MISLEAD US.

Dr. W. Graham Scroggie of the MOODY BIBLE INSTITUTE, Chicago, one of the most prestigious Christian Evangelical Mission in the world, answering the question — "Is the Bible the Word of God?" (also the title of his book), under the heading: IT IS HUMAN, YET DIVINE. He says on page 17:
"Yes, the Bible is human, though some, out of zeal which is not according to knowledge, 1 have denied this. Those books2 have passed through the minds of men, are written in the language of men, were penned by the hands of men, and bear in their style the characteristics of men."
Another erudite Christian scholar, Kenneth Cragg, the Anglican Bishop of Jerusalem, says on page 277 of his book, "The Call of the Minaret":
"Not so the New Testament3 . . . There is condensation and editing; 4 there is choice, reproduction and witness. The Gospels have come through the mind of the Church behind the authors. They represent experience and history." 5
If words have any meaning, do we need to add another word of comment to prove our case? No! But the professional propagandists, after letting the cat out of the bag, still have the face to try to make their readers believe that they have proved beyond the shadow of any doubt that the Bible is the "irrefragable 6 Word of God." Their semantic gymnastics — equivocating, and playing with words — is amazing!
First of all, it is important to know that if the "Bibles" of today, with all their versions and differences in the quantity of their "books" and "gospels", were in fact the Original Holy Word of GOD Almighty, then there would be no need for the Noble Quran. But since they are corrupt, then we obviously can't consider them as GOD Almighty's Holy and Divine Words.
There existed many different Bibles during the time of the Roman Emperor, Constantine, which were widely believed in by different Christian sects in the year 312. In other words, during the first 3 centuries of "Christianity" (300 years), many different canons with 100s of books/gospels combined existed! That is a lot of canons, a lot of books/gospels, and a lot of time (300 years) of different Christian religions existed. Also, Constantine's own "unified canon or bible" got lost and only small portions of it were found! So what we have today from "Bible(s)" are not even Constantine's books.
We must first of all know that the entire Bible is corrupted and unreliable and is mostly filled with man-made laws and corruption! "`How can you say, "We [the Jews] are wise, for we have the law of the LORD," when actually the lying pen of the scribes has handled it falsely?' (From the NIV Bible, Jeremiah 8:8)"
The Revised Standard Version makes it even clearer: "How can you say, 'We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us'? But, behold, the false pen of the scribes has made it into a lie. (From the RSV Bible, Jeremiah 8:8)"
In either translation, we clearly see that the Jews had so much corrupted the Bible with their man-made cultural laws, that they had turned the Bible into a lie!
See Also Deuteronomy 31:25-29 where Moses peace be upon him predicted the corruption/tampering of the Law (Bible) after his death.
The Book of Moses predicted that the Law (Bible) will get corrupted. The Book of Jeremiah which came approximately 826 years after did indeed confirm this corruption.
"Then the Lord awoke as from sleep, as a man wakes from the stupor of wine. (From the NIV Bible, Psalm 78:65)"
Come on now, this is really ludicrous! If GOD gets drunk and/or goes to sleep, then what kind of a god is He?! No offense to any Jew or Christian, just out of curiosity, since he gets drunk, does he also work as a pimp too sometimes?
"The the Lord AWOKE......" is pretty much clear and self explanatory! He may not "sleep" like we do, but he certainly appears to have been away or not knowing or not controlling of His Creation at that time or moment!
Now, you might say that this is only symbolic and I shouldn't take it literally from the Bible. Well first of all, isn't GOD Almighty supposed to be formal and "professional" as we say it today, with us? If you want to consider the entire Bible as the perfect book of GOD Almighty, then you must take everything in it formally.
Quite frankly, I don't believe that the Psalm 78:65 was inspired by GOD Almighty. Most of the Bible contains ridiculous errors and contradictions. For instance:
1- The Bible claims that the earth is set firm on pillars and it never moves. How can I take this claim symbolically and not seriously when we know today that the earth is an egg-shaped sphere, and doesn't stand on any pillars, and it certainly does move?! Please visit The flat earth in the Bible.
By the way, the Noble Quran does claim that the earth is "egg-shaped", and it does swim in space along with the other planets and stars. It also claimed that the space is "expanding" as it was scientifically proven to be true. Please visit Science in Islam and look at the articles that I posted regarding earth and astronomy and medicine in Islam.
The following quotes were taken from the article Just who were the real authors of the Bible? Today's Books and Gospels' authors of the Bible are UNKNOWN. See the comments from the NIV Bible itself! Just why in the world should I believe in today's Bible? jesus never wrote a BIBLE, never told any tom, dick or harry to write one.
"Regarding authorship, opinions are even more divided. The notations themselves are ambiguous since the Hebrew phraseology used, meaning in general "belonging to", an also be taken in the sense of "concerning" or "for the use of" or "dedicated to". The name may refer to the title of a collection of Psalms that had been gathered under a certain name. (From the NIV Bible Commentary, page 773)"
"The Psalms consist of one hundred fifty poems of Israel written at different times by different authors, though mainly by David, around 1000 B.C.
..........
Because of the vast range of human feelings expressed in the Psalms, this book remains one of the best loved and most used books of the Bible. (From the King James Version Bible Commentary, page 801)"
As we clearly see above from the NIV and KJV Bibles' commentaries, this book can not be considered as the True Words of GOD Almighty, because it was written by many unknown authors! There is no proof that these authors were True Messengers of GOD Almighty. Another corruption and man-made alterations had invaded the Bible and corrupted it.
This corrupted book claims that the Earth is flat and never moves:
"He set the earth on its foundations; it can never be moved. (From the NIV Bible, Psalm 104:5)"
"It is He who created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon, all (the celestial bodies) swim along, each in its orbit with its own motion. (The Noble Quran, 21:33)"
