Im new to this torrent thing..can anyone tell me what "Seeders" and "Leechers" mean?
What do you mean by "to plant your seed"...and what should you do once a torrent has finished downloading?...ive heard something like.."...you should plant your seed as soon as you finish downloading.."..any idea?
And how can you increase your download speed...sometimes..my downloads are stuck at 95%/98%, why does this happen...?

1:Seeders are those who have complete copies of the file and are sharing it so others can get complete copies.
2:Leechers are those who have incomplete copies. It's also a derogatory term for those who stop sharing when they get a complete copy. The bittorrent community is based on sharing.
3:'Planting your seed' is a way of saying 'share the wealth'. Proper bittorrent netiquette is to share to a 1 to 1 ratio, or upload as much as you download. Utorrent, for example, has a Ratio tab. When it's at 1.000 or more, you've seeded equally.
4:Getting stuck happens and there are a ton of reasons for it to happen like no seeders. Check the Sources box for some links to a few sites that'll help with these questions and more. FlieSharingTalk.com is one my favs. Good folks and tons of info and help.
For a great, light weight and super stable bittorrent client, try Utorrent. It's free. Never pay for P2P clients, especially bittorrent.
Welcome to the bittorrent community!
