questions about god and the whole universe and the meaning of my life,i found satisfying answers in the quran away from what people say about it and i was really astonished by the scientific facts written in it ,which is impossible for mohammed who lived in a bedwen country to know,1400 years ago and when i asked some questions about the scientific facts here i found that most of the answers tend to be irratinal and many people refuse the ideas just because they read the word "quran"and"mohammad"!so why is that?i am seeking the truth!
the quran gave me a definition of god that has no contradictions, i was not convinced with the definition of god in christianity because i can not understand the nature of jesus whether he is god or human whether he behaves in his well or in gods' well, and if he was god why didn't he save himself from being executed?can you convince me?
in the tora the definition of god seem to be tough, and it looks to be a human like us not god!what do you think?

hmmm well i haven't read most of these bibles though i have taken a theology class. Most of the three religions do have some similarities (some stories often resemble each other even if the names are different, and some stories even date back to the ancient greeks and romans, or while many christians critique the muslim veil (hijab) they don't realise that they wear one at heir wedding and this also stems from a similar passage) while other stories and ideas are specific to the one religion. I say you pick the religion that seems to make the most sense to you. Since 9/11 alot of people have been closed minded to other religions especially towards Islam, but i have a friend who converted and in her case i would say it is the best thing she ever did. My advice would be to follow your heart and what makes sense to you.

The bible has been changed. I don't trust the validity of it and last year I was questioning my belief in christainity and now I am a Muslim. check out this site www.spubs.com it can give you some good information and answer a lot of your questions. May Allah guide you. Allah is Everliving and he has no son or daughter and he is nothing like his creation. I follow the first 3 generations of Muslims and you must understand Tawheed and understand the 5 pillars of Islam. La illah il allah. Nothing has the right to be worshiped but Allah.

Christianity is not about a book. It is about a man and about the church which he set up, the body of all persons baptized with water in the name of the Father, of the Son and the Holy Ghost.

Jesus asked his follwers to FOLLOW ME. He did not say worship this holy book. There are real Christians today who do seek to follow him but they are very few. How many people do you know who would give up their comfortable middle-class lifestyle to follow him? Do you know what Albert Schweitzer did? Would you throw away your Bible and follow the Man if he asked you to? Well, guess what, he *did* ask you to.

Did you know that Chinese has restored a 700-year-old handwritten copy of the Qur’an, the holy book of Islam, in northwest China’s Qinghai Province. The 867-page, two-volume set, the oldest known in China, is written in Arabic and stored in the Jiezi mosque in Xunhua County.

He didn't save himself from dying on the cross because he wanted to save us. The only way for us to get into heaven was for him to die like that. If you want to learn about Jesus Christ as a human and God, then read in the Holy Bible Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. If you have anymore questions about Christianity, please email me.

Peace be with you;

First I tell you a truth, Jesus spoke of all religions in the 4 gospels.

Because you are searching for truth, I give you truth, the truth Jesus spoke of.

As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness so must the Son of man be lifted up. And those that believeth in him (Moses) shall not perish but have Eternal Life

For God so loved the World that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever shall believeth in him (Jesus) shall not perish, but have Everlasting Life.

And those that believeth in him (Mohammad, Joesph Smith, etc) are not condemned, but they that believe not (in God) are condemned already because they have not believed in the only begotten son.

First Jesus is Not God that is a false teaching:

Jesus himself said at john 17:3

" This means everlasting life, thier taking in knowledge of you the only true God and the one whom you sent forth Jesus Christ"

Jesus declared not his will but the will of Him who sent him
On your issue that Jesus if he was God would have saved himself

MAtthew 26:39

" Going a little farthur he fell on his face and prayed " My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me, nevertheless not as I will, but as you will".

So you ask who is this God Jesus himself prayed to, Who is this God that the taking in knowledge of means everlasting life?

Pslam 83:18

" That people may know that you whose Name is Jehovah, You alone are the most high over all the earth."

If you really are looking for the truth here it is in a nutshell
Pray for guidance to THE TRUTH and it will given to you

We Need to
Know Who God Is
ARE you not thrilled to see a star-studded sky on a cloudless night? Is not the fragrance of colorful flowers delightful? Do you not enjoy listening to the songs of birds and the sound of rustling leaves in a gentle breeze? And how fascinating are powerful whales and other creatures that inhabit the sea! Then there are humans with their faculty of conscience and an amazingly complex brain. How do you account for the existence of all the wonderful things that surround us?

Some believe that all of this is a product of blind chance. But if this is so, why are humans conscious of God? Why would an accidental combination of various chemicals produce creatures with a spiritual need?

"Religion is deeply rooted in human nature and experienced at every level of economic status and educational background." This statement summed up the research that Professor Alister Hardy presented in his book The Spiritual Nature of Man. Recent experiments on the brain have led certain neuroscientists to suggest that humans may have been "hardwired" with the capacity for religion. The book entitled Is God the Only Reality? observes: "The religious quest for meaning . . . is the common experience in every culture and every age since the emergence of humankind."

Consider what a learned man concluded some 2,000 years ago. He wrote: "Every house is constructed by someone, but he that constructed all things is God." (Hebrews 3:4) In fact, the very first verse of the Bible states: "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." —Genesis 1:1.

Who, though, is God? Mankind is divided on this question. When asked who God is, a Japanese teenager named Yoshi replied: "I am not sure. I am a Buddhist, and it has not been important for me to know who God is." Yoshi, though, admitted that Buddha himself is deified by many. Nick, a businessman in his 60's, believes in God and thinks of him as an all-powerful force. When asked to explain what he knows about God, Nick replied after a long pause: "That is a very difficult question, my friend. All I can say is that God is there. He exists."

Some people "worship and serve what God has created instead of the Creator himself." (Romans 1:25, Today's English Version) Millions worship dead ancestors, believing that God is too remote to be approached. In the Hindu religion, there are many gods and goddesses. Various deities, such as Zeus and Hermes, were worshiped in the days of Jesus Christ's apostles. (Acts 14:11, 12) Many churches of Christendom teach that God is a Trinity, consisting of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

Indeed, "there are many 'gods' and many 'lords,'" states the Bible. However, it adds: "There is actually to us one God the Father, out of whom all things are." (1 Corinthians 8:5, 6) Yes, there is only one true God. But who is he? What is he like? It is important for us to know the answers to these questions. Jesus himself said in prayer to this One: "This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ." (John 17:3) There is reason to believe that our eternal welfare depends on knowing the truth about God.

Jesus didn't save himself from the cross because the whole reason that he was born was for that moment. Before he came to us we were all destined to go to hell. God sent his son to die on the cross for us. He willlingly paid for our sins. He also spent 3 days and 3 nights in hell before he rose again.
