Not quite an eating disorder, as you are able to eat over you calorie limit and eat sugary food (if you had an actual disorder you wouldn't just feel guilt or worry . . . you would have an uncontrollable need to purge or exercise, or an inability to eat at all without becoming violently ill or panicked to the point of physical sensation or harm); you seem to have some type of anxiety disorder that has the potential to grow into an eating disorder if it goes unchecked. You probably have some source of anxiety in your life . . . possibly a lack of control, low self esteem, or something biological . . . and you're fixating on your weight because it often easier to fixate on one particular thing when you're overcome with anxiety or depression. I would advise that you talk to a doctor or coucilor before your fixation gets too bad, so that you don't develope an eating disorder and you can be rid of your anxiety.
Exercise Bulemia, or Exercise Anorexia, is a term coined for excessive exercise for one of several reasons (to lose weight, to maintain and unhealthy weight, or because it just feels good) and is not actually an eating disorder, due to the fact that it has nothing to do with eating. It is, however, a health risk and is often diagnosed as an anxiety disorder or as part of a personality disorder (most often OCD). It is often found in conjunction with either Bulemia or Anorexia (thus the term), in which case it will probably be diagnosed as an anxiety disorder that, likely, has close ties to the reason the individual has the eating disorder (such as low self esteem, a need for control over some aspect of onese life {in this case, weight/body}, a traumatic experience that somehow relates to the body or weight, or displaced anxiety that has nothing to due with the body or weight {that has been associated with the body/weight because of the relative ease with which it can be changed and controlled}). However, as I said, something that does not involve eating can not be considered an eating disorder, even if it they are often found alongside one another.

I would consider this an eating disorder because your thoughts and actions are consumed with limiting calories, excessive exercise and poor self esteem. At 5'5" and 128 pounds you are healthy and because you exercise everyday a lot of that weight is muscle. I actually don't think you are eating enough. A person who is dieting should eat about 1200 calories. If you are exercising 90 minutes everyday, you need to eat more. At your height, weight and exercise level you should be eating closer to 2,000 calories per day since your metabolism should be in great shape (assuming you're not trying to lose weight, just maintain). If you only eat 1200 calories to maintain your weight, then what is going to happen when you get older and your metabolism slows down? Exercising every day is not good for you. Your body needs to rest at least 1-2 days per week. I would really consider talking to your doctor about this. A nutritionist may also be helpful in helping you establish a healthy diet and exercise regimen. Tell them everything you told us and see what they say. You should not have to count calories everyday, worry that eating a sweet will make you fat or be consumed with when you will have your next meal. Please get help before this develops into something worse. Good luck!

If you are exercising for 90 minutes every day, you need more than 1200 calories. If you are at rest, you would need at least that much to maintain yourself. It also depends upon what that 1200 calories is made of. If it is mostly high fat, sugary foods then you could be starving yourself even eating that much. So you need to make sure you are getting a balanced diet with enough vitamins and minerals in your diet. That includes complex carbs like whole grain cereals and fruit and enough protein from lean meats and fish and several servings of veggies. If you are getting all the nutrients, your body will not cause you to have crying jags or be so obsessed with eating. Eating is the most important thing because your body is not getting enough to sustain itself.
Consult with your parents and doctor about having a nutritionist talk to you and getting you more healthy.
Good luck.

I think, if you understand what I'm saying, that you have the mindset. My friend was anorexic, and I've been in your place before. I've gone a little over the edge, but never anything rediculous. I definately notice a difference in myself when i'm in that mindset and when i'm not. I'd say, you're not acting healthy. you're not acting the way you should towards food, which i would say is a disorder.
it's okay to be healthy, but also focus on the opposite side of being healthy--make sure you get ENOUGH nutrition each day
just be careful and maybe sit down and figure out what's really important! usually these things are deeper than food!
good luck!

You probably are too hard on yourself. What matters is whats on the inside. If the inside is constantly worried about the outside how could you possibly let out your inner beauty? Let yourself go once in a while. As long as you keep your exercise routine, you'll be fine.
Here, have a cheesecake!

I'm not totally sure...you sound like you definately have issues with weight, but you also sound like me, and I don't consider myself ana. I'm about 5'1 1/2 and between 98-100 lbs, and I get upset if I eat over 900, so I guess you aren't so bad as me, lol, but I do think you have some issues if you actually cry over it.

it sound like you have become quite obsessive - people in the know will tell you that certain behaviors become a problem when they start to interfere with how you live your life and it sounds to me as if this is DOMINATING your life. A healthy diet, exercize, and treats in moderation are part of a healthy lifestyle. You should talk to someone about this.
