Go to Genesis 3:1-6 and then compare that with John10:10 and 1 John 2:16. Lets stay on 1 John 2:16 for a minute, Let's look at it more closely.
"For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world."
this what the devil used to trick Adam & Eve: -THE LUST OF THE FLESH - THE LUST OF THE EYES & THE PRIDE OF LIFE. In fact the devil tried that with Jesus but succeeded. Now go back to Genesis 3:1-6.
what the devil does he uses our thoughts, desires to tempt us to sin by perverting truth or twisting the truth of God.
Genesis 3:1 satan questioning what God said.
in verse 6 there is the thing that the devil used:
And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food(The lust of the flesh), and that it was pleasant to the eyes(The lust of the eyes), and a tree to be desired to make one wise(The Pride of life), she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
The devil was getting Eve to think that God had either lied to her or with held something from them which God doesn't do either of them.

Satan's ban from Heaven may have been discussed in Revelations, but it was also discussed BEFORE that in Isaiah and Ezekiel. More than that, the discussion of the Devil in Revelations focuses mostly on him being chained up during the Millenial Kingdom and then cast into the lake of fire for all eternity.
And the reason the Bible talks about Satan tricking Adam and Eve in Genesis, and then later talks about his fall from Heaven, is because the Bible is not written from beginning to end in the order of which all the events of those times happened. It jumps around alot, because there are many authors. But it is still all tied together.

The devil was cast out of heaven in Ezekiel 28:12-19 and Isaiah 14:12-14. The war in heaven at the end times is in Revelation. Between being cast out and Revelation, he is on earth.

Good question, I'll let the bible answer. Satan was just another spirit creature that God created but who turned away from God. Where you have misunderstood though is that the spirit creatures were created before man. Can we prove this from the scriptures? yes...Please read Job 38:1-7. Jehovah is talking to Job about founding the earth v4 and then in v7 we read 'and all the sons of God began shouting in applause'. So the spirit creatures were present at the forming of the earth. If you remember the creation account, man was the last of God's creations and so we can easily say that the devil was around before Adam and Eve. Please contact me if you want any more proof of this.

Lucifer, the main alluring of all God's angels sinned (delight), took one million/3 of angels with him and God forged them out of heaven to earth. They have been angels became undesirable =demons. This occurred earlier the backyard of Eden, Adam and Eve. The devil grow to be by no ability human. Lucifer, the angel, is now the fallen angel, the devil named devil. At Jesus' 2d Coming, Jesus will forged devil to hell till Jesus one thousand year reign in the international is almost over. devil would be loosed for a little while on earth to tempt the human beings who have been alive on the top of the Tribulation or have been born for the duration of the only thousand year Millenium and then finally devil would be forged into the Lake of eternal hearth continuously. in case you do no longer understand a number of this, study Revelation or consult with somebody who has study and would aid you recognize approximately it or get entangled in a Revelation bible learn. David Jeremiah wrote a e book "get away the appearance evening" that explains it nicely.

My understanding is that although Revelations was written later than Genesis the event it alludes to actually happened before Genesis. The story of Adam and Eve was never meant to be taken literally and simply chronicles how man is fundamentally weak and the devil (whatever your belief of the devil may be) comes in many shapes and guises to tempt us.

If you read the Book of Job, you find an interesting account of life in Heaven. In this account, you also find Satan stationing himself in front of God. Satan, therefore was allowed to stay in Heaven after Adam and Eve sinned, up to and beyond the time when the Book of Job was written.
Genesis shows that, from the beginning, Satan also spent part of his time on the Earth. Perhaps this was part of the assignment given to him by God, to look after things on the Earth, to convey messages between heaven and earth, or some other task taht was related to the earth.
So, Satan was for a time allowed to go between Heaven and Earth, carrying out his assigned tasks, whatever they were. however, when he persuaded Adam and Eve to disobey God, he began to develope his own agenda. It involved not only persuading humans to join him in rebellion, but also angels. Indeed, he seems to have persuaded a great many of God's angels to become his demons.
The events described in revelation, including when Satan battled with the lamb (Jesus) are currently taking place. The eviction of Satan from heaven (so that he would no longer be allowed to enter in and station himself in front of God ever again) was to be followed by a time of great trouble. The description in Revelation is also linked with the description of troubled time outlined in Matthew 24: a time of great war, famine, pestilence, etc.
Jehovah's Witnesses understand that these events began to be fulfilled from 1914 onwards and, despite being a time of great trouble, precede and herald a time of great peace with the advent of God's kingdom.

satan was kicked out of heaven (God's throne residence and lucifer's home) before Adam and Eve were created. In Revelation, satan is kicked out of the position of being the prince of the power of the air (meaning the "heaven" below God's throne, around earth).

satan was thrown out of Heaven before creation and thrown to earth. there is nothing in revelation that shows timing of that event but the fall of satan is described to happen in the OT as before creation. satan came to eve in the form of a sepent, which at that time was not confined to slithering. the bible is clear though that as the accuser of the God's children that he has access to the throne room before he is eventually denied further access. this may be the final casting out of Heaven described in revelation. the bible even says "woe unto the inhabitants of earth for satan is come down to you. for he knows that he has a short time"
