Hey I was trying to find something online about it but came up dry, does anyone know? Can you give me a link to a source please?
Also I'm interested in knowing how many prisoners are in jail solely because of marijuana

I'm pretty Dutch my friend
one quarter and proud
and in Holland they view drug offences as not even a crime which I think is the way to go. If america did that there would be none no money waisted.
Ofcoarse you can't be flying out of Holland with any packages.

Federal Department of Justice collects and maintains data annually for Departments of Corrections throughout the US. They should have at least raw data for you to see.

You might also try a website for a particular state's Department of Justice... they maintain the same stats... which are delivered to the Feds.

In my experience? More than half the offenses committed are found to be drug/alcohol involved...
