Anything up to 18 months is normal. It took me 6 months. it depends on each individual, and especially if you are breastfeeding you might have to wait longer to get your period back. Women who bottle feed can get they're peiod as soon as the next month after birth.

the only way to know if your having another baby is take a test . you should of had your regular cycle by now some people have it four weeks after having a baby a womans cycle is 28 days give or take 4 days. when you have a baby thats not a period your hormones clock starts the day you have your baby as your period cycle starts the day you start your period not stop. go to the doc it can take three weeks for the hormones to show up in your pee. if you notice when most people go to the doctor to have a test there 4 to 6 weeks already and could of had a period with in that time. go to to the doctor . and use condoms if your noton the pill yet

if you are breastfeediing it will most likely not come until the feeds are more than 4 hrs apart. Even then it can take longer. Mine came back when my twins were 10 months. And what a bugger that was. Be warned they are very different to pre pre baby. A lot heavier. Mine took a year to settle down after the babies

It depends. If you are breastfeeding your periods could be delayed for many months. I didnt get my period back until around 18 months after each child because I was breastfeeding.
So sit back and relax and enjoy not having them for a while.

I breast fed my baby and did not have a period until after her 1st birthday. But then I was diagnosed with Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome because my periods were very irregular - one every three months or so.

Depends on whether or not you are nursing your baby. Check to be sure you are NOT pregnant again. Meanwhile, kick back and enjoy. The old hormones will catch up with you soon enough. (Smile)

A normal pattern should establish itself over the next three to six months.
Edit: Looks like I was a bit off. :p

Breastfeeding often delays the return of your fertility.
After my first - my cycle didn't return until he was 1 (on his first birthday actually).
After my second - she was about 16 months old when my cycle returned.
