My friend video taped himself chugging 2 bottles of hard alcohol (one was 80 proof..Not sure what the other one was) and taking 6 shots of pucker, and 2 shots of malibu, all in about 3 minutes and 20 seconds. he's about 5'11, 240 pounds.
I was on the phone with him and he was sounding really out of it..then he let me go.
Is it possible to do that, and be okay? Should I be worried about him?

Alright....right after I posted, he called me back, and informed me, he's still drinking.
He still sounds wasted...how long will it take for bad effects to kick in?

actually, Jack, that was my first thought. This guy is a known liar, and he seemed to be chugging it a little too smoothly, but he DOES drink a lot so, I am still worried...just incase he wasnt fibbing

UPDATE: For those of you who are interested...My friend called me about 5 minutes ago from work, to inform me he was fine, Didn't even have a hangover when he woke up....Which says to me....he faked the whole thing, because you can not drink that much, and not have a hangover. I could be wrong.....buuuut I don't think I am. Anyway thanks everyone who answered

he may die. your body can not handle that much alcohol. he very well may die tonight... and i 100% am not kidding. My brothers best friend died of alcohol poisoning. this is too much- even for his weight. Get him to hospital- is he subtely trying to commit suicide??
PS- even if he vomits he still may die. He needs help now.
PSS- please let us know tomorrow if he made it thru the night... at the spot you can add additional info to your question. He is in my prayers- this is serious dude

Yes he could live, though that doesn't make it any less stupid! I am all for drinking, but that amount that fast can easily cause alchohol poisining. Hopefully he will puke most of it back up. Not smart! He should get medical attention, alchohol poisining can be fatal.
Yes you should be worried, not only about alchohol poisining, but about his mental state. Why would anyone decide to do that? I understand someone drinking, getting too drunk and not realizing they drank that much, but if he did it that fast he did it intentionally
40,000 people died in 2000 from alchohol poisining in russia, they are known to be the heaviest drinkers per capita of any country.

he may well have or be on the way to having alcohol poisioning. this is lethal. does he drink regularly? how much you can drink is progressive. it takes more each time. but my late husband died of it in 1998. he drank for many years and drank a 1/2 gallon of vodka that morning. R I P if he is past the point in your opinion, pls call the police in his state. they will look in on him. better to say i was worried even though he is ok than to say sorry i let u die...........

Lol, yeah me and my friends did that before, the bottles were filled with water, and it was a prank.
If he had done it with real alcohol he either threw it up or is dead by now, probably both.

Everyone's tolerence is different, and not knowing how big the bottles were, I can't say for sure.. but if I were you, I'd make sure someone checks on him. I don't see how that can be safe for anyone really.

Anyone that considers doing all that in that amount of time and succeeds, in my view has a serious drinking problem. Yeah, I'd be a bit concerned about em.

if possible call sumone who is with him and is actually witnessing if he is drinking that much amount he might be showing off or joking around but you defintely need to take the situation a bit serious...if this is one of his regular nights having that much amount of achohol then he MIGHT be ok otherwise he would not be
