This is not a question but still i am responding as i am big nature lover and am saddened to see the total disregard and careless attitude by tourist, government etc towards Himalayas. We should do something so lets start by forming a group from here.

In the name of tourism, religious or otherwise, the himalyas are grossly misused. Cutting down the tress, blasting the rocks. with the result the whole of eco system has become v. fragile. even the valley of flowers has been affected. the govt. should not be overtly greedy. slow down making roads and tunnels to boost tourism. Let, only those who love mountains come. they will rough it out for sure.

The idea and the thought behind it are very laudable. But..... please , please donot start YET another group. Hundreds of such groups are there already. choose from among them and start working . Start giving ideas and start acting on that idea. actions are needed and there are enough thoughts going around.
The small way to start is to stop use of plastics in that greenbelt. Good luck,.
