i asked this guy to go to the dance with me in dec (he was busy) and then in a dance in jan i saw him there and asked him again (he said yes and we slow danced-he didnt seem like he wanted to though). we never really talked much these days. he asks to borrow my calculator last week and stuff like that.
ive known im since 6th (but didnt keep in touch in 7th) now we are in 8th grade. i know he doesnt like me and its really hard for me to let go and move on. i even pranked called him (with my friends) and that didnt make me stop liking him.
how do you get over a guy that doesnt like you back and that you have never gone out with?

sweetie... you're still young and I know that it sucks... been there done that...but unfortuantely you can't force someone to like you... so what you need to do is spend more time with your friends... have fab girls nites... get crushes on movie/tv stars and discuss them... focus on other stuff besides him, and eventually the hurt will go away... and its a little easier (I said little... ) when you haven't gone out with the guy, coz those feelings were never reciprocated in the first place... but seriously there are prob guys out there who like you and coz you have been crushing on the other guy they haven't bothered to let you know...or have been too shy... concentrate on making great guy friends... coz this is where the best relationships come out of, and you will be able to know when someone likes you...I hope you realise that a boy like that can be insensitive to the feelings of an 8th grade girl... coz they're immature and don't know how to handle these things... so as I said find other stuff to do and become happy with who you are before you ever get into a relationship... hope that helps in some way!!!!!!!!!

If he doesn't like u...its his loss not urs. You will get over him when shcool is out and u have the whole summer and let me tell you when you go to high school there are going to be so many new cute guys...u are going to have so many crushes. Thats what happened to me. I know you like him, but I promise it will pass.

if he dosnt like you then its his problem i know its hard to move on but u have to beleve it or not but theres someone else out there for u who aktaully does like u so forget about him its his loss and dont prank call him becuase thats what u do when u you do like him not when ur trying to get rid of him
