Its very strange to ask same question twice.
However!
+ Select some good weekly or monthly menus while consulting a good menu book.
+ show them to your Master and Kidz.
+ Apply the favorite one.
So Simple

I take a piece of typing paper and fold it into eight sections. I head each section with a day of the week, and the eighth section is for my shopping list. I try to keep when I shop in mind so I can serve fresh foods on those days, and canned or frozen stuff on the other days.

Food pyramid is a good guide, and so is the Daily Dozen diet plan (see "What to Expect" link). Also, Fly-lady has some good menu-planning tips -- it's on her site somewhere.

Check out your local supermarket and grab a copy of Family Circle. They usually have a months worth of menus and some recipe's to go along with them. One of the things I've noticed with them is that they usually have a meal on Sunday that makes enough leftovers for a Tuesday dinner. Monday night is meatless. Saturday night is usually entertaining. And Wednesday night is lightweight. Good luck!
