Ok so I am not really good at reading people. Ok so I ask this girl if she wants to get lunch and she says yes. Then she blows me off, because she said she has a midterm. She even gave me her phone number. She is always saying she is not smart, but she really is. I think it is a flirt technek, but I do not know. She always looks really sad when I see her look at me. She also does a that look into my eyes and then quickly down. If this is the second time she has blown me off, should I try a third. I am usualy a very shy guy and wouldn't do this, but for some reason I always feel like she is really interested in me. Is she interested in me, just want to be friends, or is she just a flirt?

I dunno. I say keep asking her, or just ask her straight up if she is interested in you or not.

she is flirting with you and she does not know what she, herself, wants. if she stands you up or blows you off then she is not interested and as for why she would be acting dumb as though she is not smart is to get attention. she is playing with you, your feelings and honestly she does not sound like a nice person but rather vain and such. go and find someone who is actually worth yout time because she sure is not!
