I am wondering how best to show my affection to a young lady with whom I will be having dinner this week. We have been getting to know each other for a while now, and this will be the first 'date'. When she goes to leave, should I simply say goodbye, hug her, kiss her hand, or do something else? What is most appropriate in this situation, in U.S. culture?
This is a question for the ladies. What would you find most respectful and/or romantic?

Some girls are diffrent from others! me...i would want a kiss on the first date (on the lips). Others don't but you know just follow your heart you will know when the right time is!

it would be more romantic to kiss her on the hand the first couple dates, it always makes me feel more comfortable to know that the guy isnt a creep who just wants sex

just give her a hug first. hug is like a bunt single. you can get a feeling from the hug to see if you got on base. try to steal second on your second date. third date should equate out to a HOMERUN!!!
