As I was browsing through a lot of these questions here, I found a LOT of questions varying from non-violations, small violations, to downright HUGE violations...and they seem to go unreported; either that, or I am missing the big picture. Not to mention some comments DIRECTLY stating out loud violations...I mean, somewhere along the line, maybe I said a lot of vilations, too without realizing it...but if I got reported, then I would try to fix it later on...however, I do think that there are a lot of people out there that deserve it more than me (trust me on this one, you have to look deeper for this, though). But how come they don't get reported?

Some people believe in Freedom of Speech and some people don't. Why aren't you reporting them if you think they are a violation, how do you know that they haven't been reported? Why do you care enough about it to go through questions and answers looking for violations? Why do you think someone else deserves them more than you do?
I never trust anyone who says Trust Me!

Those posts probably ARE being reported, but much of the time Yahoo simply ignores the huge violations and lets them stay up, while they delete other posts for little things that aren't really violations at all. It's their show, so they can run it as they like.

It all depends if it gets reported or not. Try an experiment... take a perfectly innocent question and answer, and flag it for abuse.

I bet the person will get a violation notice, have it deleted, with reason being: Read Community Guidelines ... check back the next day and see if the question is still there.

Questions get reported all the time, but it seems to take a while for the Yahoo! Answers staff to deal with the violations and delete the questions.

Because most people have better things to do. Those persons posting racially biased questions, or rude questions are just seeking a attention for the most part..I got reported, because I asked a professional (official poster) why after writing 15 books on parenting she was asking our opinion..surely if she had written 15 books she must know a thing or two.. my answer was reported and I was chastised..
The people at yahoo do the best they can, and I think they do a pretty good job..

They are.
Being reported that is.

I'm not exact on the numbers, but i would imagine there are probably 185,000 users on Answers at any given time, SLAMMEN out answers, and questions., and thumbs down, and there are definitely the power trolls, AND those that will continue to report them.

Just because someone says something, that they did something, does not mean its true. People put lots of fake things on myspace and other websites so you can't really prove anything and the same goes for here. it may be true and it may not be.
