most new, and reasonably new digital camera's can record video as well. However the video is going to be horrible resolution.

You can capture video, but it won't look so good with low resolution cameras. You need a camera with a higher mega pixel so it looks nicer. The memory has no affect to the quality, only the length of the video.

Most cameras now a days have a button w/a rec on it & the older cameras you just have to hold the picture button to start recording.

Yes you can!! =) I'd recommend a Canon Power Shot 5 mega pixel or higher. They are great quality and record as much video as your memory card can hold!! unlike others that give you a time limit.

I have a 7.1 Mega Pixel Canon Power Shot. And I love it, because it's easy to switch from taking a picture to filming a video!!

It is also easy to upload to the computer!! Since it's on a memory card. So you can put your videos on a website or you tube in as little as 5 minutes after you film it!! =)
