probably. lack of sleep can lead to more ailments than you can imagine. especially with the more sleep you lose. it can lead to decreased patience and increased stress during the day, and stress can lead to a plethora of conditions (a heart attack is an extreme example).
but lack of sleep isn't the only thing that could lead to hair loss. if it's extreme, or really bothering you, have it checked out.

Yes lack of sleep will heat up your head resulting in hair fall. When you are having less sleep you should compensate it with drinking plenty of fruit juices & water to cool you up . But one thing lack of sleep alone is not always the problem for hair falling , lack of nourishment, dandruff, lice, unclean scalp, skin infections, using toxic shampoos / soaps all would result in hair fall.
