Well, I see a contradiction here.
You say that you are a fast runner, how fast are you? If you run 5-6 min miles, then no wonder you tire out fast.
There is a great formula by which many athletes train. The higher your intensity, the lower should be your volume. So, if your run is really really fast, you cannot sustain it for too long. Why don't you slow down a bit, and they you can run longer.
As for being really tired all day long, you need to make sure you:
1. eat enough;
2. sleep enough (at least 8 hrs per day), more sleep for those really hard and intense days;
3. take multivitamins as most people don't get enough of their daily dosage, let alone those that workout. Make sure yours has iron supplements and calcium;
4. have a day off for full recovery;
5. If all fails, see a doctor.

It could be in your diet.
If you eat foods that have a high G.I. rating (like white bread and sweets) your energy burns up a lot faster.
If you eat low G.I. foods like (wholegrain bread and sweet potatoe), your body burns energy slower.
There are heaps of books for sale on low G.I eating.
I am a large person, but as I eat a lot of foods with a low G.I. reading, I have have more energy than people half my size.
Another thing it might be is your heart rate. If your heart rate is going too fast all the time, even while you are resting, you may need medical advice.
Best thing to do is to see a doctor. That way you can clear up any serious problems.

First get a physical check up to rule out any medical issue. It could be as simple as iron definency, or as serious as a faulty heart valve! You won't know until you get checked out. The DR will ask you a bunch of background questions, examine you, and test your blood. After that, assuming everything is okay with you, you may slowly build up your cardio (the main reason people get "winded"). Good luck!

Are you eating enough? Are you drinking at least 8 or 10 - 8oz glasses of water each day? Please, if this continues, see your dr. to get checked for diabetes, etc. I wish you the best. Take care.

if your doctor has cleared you for any medical reason for your symptoms, you might try eating more. you are burning alot of calories. balance your meals by eating one protein for each sugar (carb). graze more instead of eating 3 squares.
try adding more potassium into your diet by eating a banana every morning and drinking more Gatorade.
