Hi Justin, I just wanted to say I feel so incredibly lonely too. And so are a lot of other people, many of who are here in this forum today. The feelings you have are a normal part of life and they exist in order to make you a stronger person. Yes, it's true, sometimes we feel the weight of the world is too much to handle and it's the same for a lot of people. You may feel lonely now, but know you are not alone. And please remember that life is a very unique and special gift and the thing that is so beautiful about it is that it can get truly wonderful when you least expect it. Take some time to think of all the misery out there, the homeless, the poor, the starving children in the third world countries. There is a lot of pain out there, but the world is fighting. If one by one we start to give up, soon there will nothing to fight for. We must keep our spirit alive. Think of all the babies born each day into a new world of possibilities, think of people loving each other, making each other feel special. Think of children playing with puppies. Think not only of the love you need, but of the love other people need more than us. Think of the love and happiness you can GIVE. We all deserve happiness. But in order to achieve it you have to help yourself stand on its own two feet first. When you reach the point of contemplating harming yourself, it's time to seek out help. Talk to a psychologist, join a support group. These difficult times are much like having the flu. We need all the help we can get. And when the hard part is over, our immune system is stronger than before. Take care of yourself and I know we'll all be happy to hear news of your recovery soon. P.S. learning to love ourselves is a hard but worthwhile process that takes time. Be patient and you'll be rewarded.

Things may seem terrible right now, but they aren't as bad as you think. It's all about perception. I know that doesn't help, but you are so not alone. Millions of people feel this way the world over. There are people in your life that would be hurt were you to end it. I know that's little consolence, but what you are experiencing now is temporary. Great joy awaits you and you don't want to rob yourself of that. I urge you to seek therapy and join a support group. You will soon find out how you already fit into the crowd. Loneliness is an ever increasing emotion and the world over is looking for a cure. Hang in there. God loves you, and so do I. God bless and good luck.

Those are a lot of pretty awful things you just wrote. It makes me sad to read them for sure.
But you came here to tell us about it, and that's a good start.
Suicide isn't a choice. It's something people have to do when their pain completely overcomes their ability to cope with their struggles. I'm really sorry to hear that you're feeling lonely right now, but I also see you asking for help. Keep doing that. There are a lot of places you can call and plenty of people who are good to talk to about feeling depressed, lonely and suicidal.
People do come out of these things every day. It might be hard for people to be closer friends to you because they might not understand what's making you so sad. I have hope for you, and I expect that if you keep asking for help, you'll begin to see that hope too.

I know how you feel. Whatever friends I had were backstabbing jerks who weren't even real friends to begin with, I have a rare disease that confines me to my house and the only people I see are my mom and step dad but other then that there is no one else, I only see my dad once a week, sometimes not even at all due to him always working all the time, I currently have no friends and I wish I could start this life over again. I hope it all turns out well for you in the end, people like you deserve it.

Don't do it, honey. People LOVE you. I'm not kidding...I had an uncle that committed suicide, and I miss him everyday, even though I never met him. Just because you believe you have no one now does not make that the reality, or the truth for the future. So many people give up on life because they feel they have nobody, but GOD is always there for you. He is The Crying Shoulder, The Ultimate Friend, The Lover of Your Soul, and Your Creator. He Loves You with a deep and burning love, and He's just waiting for you to turn to Him. I have known Him for a long time, and He has NEVER let me down. How many friends can I say that about? None. People will always mess up, and lots of times judge without cause. God never will, and He will provide you with all the desires of your heart as you trust in Him. Seriously, go the Bible. Psalms makes me feel better when people make me feel rejected and/or weird. And trust me, people do that a lot :) You're not alone, I promise. Hold on (!!!)

Please don't do anything to hurt yourself!! I'm sorry that you are going through a difficult time right now but it will eventually get better. I look younger than my age too but it's not a big deal. Maybe you're just going up to the wrong people, there are some that are just idiots and too stuck up to try to get to know other people but believe me there are some out there that wouldn't mind being your friend, but please don't hurt yourself because once you die, you can never have another chance. Try talking to a counselor about this or someone that can help you. Best of luck and God bless.

i feel like that sometimes, but sometimes i know i'm wrong, this message is more about myself because i want you to realize that you are not the only one, lots of things goes wrong in my life, and sometimes i fix them but is not good enough, i get lonely sometimes but i got used to it, i really dont care having too many friends, having too many friends makes you change, this only affects to joung people like us, but now even if i have 100 friends i won't change at all. dude sometimes i feel like i want to born again and just see the problems and fix it right away, but we learn making errors, i make tons of errors and thats is something that i hate about myself and other things that it annoys me.
i found this question because i want to read from people having the same problem i have. im in college right now, and is really hard for me because i work 40 hours, there is nothing i can do, but to get tired and suffer studying, i feel like dying but is worth my effort, i thought i was not gonna do all this, and here i am still standing on my own legs.
just relax and think what are you gonna do next carefully...

First of all.... if you are even thinking about death - you need to get some professional help - trust me.... I did! so I kinda know what you are feeling.
EVERTHING happens for a reason...... maybe GOD has better friends for you down the road..... if people don't take the time to get to know you for who you are... than why would you want them as your friends????????
I'm having a hard time meeting new friends in LA - since I moved here..... so.... if you ever want to talk.... email me or something, k? - but you have to promise to go and get help first!
