It really depends on what you are going for. Struedel is soft and chewy and really delicious. Poptarts are crispy crunchy and really delicious. It's been a long time since I've had either, but IIRC, struedel *needs* to be cooked. Poptarts are pretty good without the cooking.
So, if you need something for your emergency kit in the trunk of your car, or something for camping or going anywhere where a toaster will not be an option. Poptarts are the best.
But for breakfast in your home, it just depends on what you like.
They aren't that much more expensive -- go ahead, buy a pack (on sale with a coupon if you are very nervous!) and try 'em out! You lose, what, a couple of bucks at the most?

Toaster streudel are so much better than pop tarts. There is no comparison. My kids prefer them to a pop tart any day. They're also good as a dessert...we have them after dinner for a treat quite a bit.

My father, the inventor of toaster strudel, would not be too pleased to hear about this question.
Of COURSE they are better!
............ but bite into either too quick and you will molten lava burn your mouth.

omg totally... my dad invented the toaster strudel i have sooo tried every flavor.... even the ones that never came out!! im soo rich hahaha!!! UR MOM!!

They are great. I used to put them in the toaster but I think I like them better when I nuke them.

Yes and yes. They are softer. The insides are like jelly. The icing is awesome. My favorite are the cream cheese and strawberry kind.
