You have an excellent question. It is not as common for the woman to transmit to a male. Or a bottom to a top. However, if the woman is infected and the male has bleeding/open cuts and tears in his penis he can become infected. Hav not heard of HIV creeping up the urethra of a man as indicated by some, may be other diseases.
