It's Rotovirus, also called Rotavirus. If you know what it is, that means your daughter was diagnosed by a pediatrician. How is it then you don't know what to do about it????
The symptoms can be treated but there's currently no drug for the virus itself. The symptoms last from 3-10 days but your daughter will be contagious for 10-12 days after the diarrhea started. Normally the fever is a low grade one, not a high fever and there's also nausea. Give her liquid Children's Tylenol and use cool sponge baths.
She needs lots of rest and lots of Pedialyte (or store brand is fine). NO GATORADE, SPORTS DRINKS, SODAS, FRUIT JUICE, OR ANYTHING WITH SUGAR! She can have soup, jello, crackers to eat. The biggest threat is dehyration. Signs of this are irritability, lethargy, sunken eyes, dry mouth and tongue, fewer trips to the bathroom (or dry diapers for longer than 2 hours). If you see these signs, either call her pediatrician immediately, or if she doesn't have one, take her to an ER. She will need IV rehydration.
Everyone in your home, including your daughter, should wash hands frequently, keep household surfaces clean and disinfected. If she uses the toilet, disinfect the seat after every single use.

Well first of all I'd either call her Dr or take her to the ER instead of wasting time asking us!! Yes it could be. My daughter got it from daycare..but no fever or anything. Just foul smelling runny bowels, a green orange color. With a high fever and vomit it could be flu..tis th season for it! and it's bad this year..i'd get her seen..until then give proper dose for her age of tylenol and a little bit of pedialyte perhaps. a cool rag on the head to cool her until the dr says what to do. hope she feels better!

If the kid is 2-4 years old, maybe she will have her front tooth. But then, if not her tooth, she might have eaten something which made her tummy upset. Well, better see your family doctor. But as a first aid, kindly give her Pedialite to help fight dehydration. Or simply osterize an apple. This might help ease her condition.
GOD BLESS THE CHILD.

Give her lots of water and I mean a lot to drink. Remember that regular water goes down faster than cold or hot water. If she does not get better in a few hours, you must take her to the hospital.

7-up , sprite , Gatorade & crackers... that usually stops the vomiting. You also might need to bring her to the doctors on the safe side.
or also " EMETROL" its for nausea and is safe for children. It's actually recommended by doctors & pharmacists.
its for relief of nausea due to upset stomach from intestinal flu,and food or drink indiscretions.

Take her to a doctor before she gets dehydrated. It's too serious for advice from yahoo users. You need professional help as soon as possible!

It is rotavirus. Take her to urgent care or ER as she may be getting dehydrated. Bundle her up well and take her now.
