I have many years of experience in figuring out the answer to this one. When someone tells you they want to take it slow in a relationship with you, it means that they desire setting the pace(or timing) for each step in the relationship and they also want to determine how far the relationship will go.

Taking it slow means to really get to know a person first before you become intimate with them. Relationships can sometimes last longer if sex isn't an issue at first, you feel more at ease with that special person.

from a guys perspective taking it slow means that your just that for fun and is only gonna be good 4 a ****. because 9/10 he has a whole woman on the side and sees a free way with you. from a woans perspective she'd be doing the same thing but then again we are confusing but it kinda means she wants your money are just sum1 to chill wit so she won't be lonely.

It means that someone wants to take things day by day, see how things pan out, doesn't want to be extremely intimate, protecting themselves from hurt, and wanting to get to know the other person before speeding up.

To me, in a relationship... taking it slow means controlling how you feel. In contrast, i dont feel that it should have to do wih anything sexual because you should never delay he inevitable...(" Just keepin the attachments and feelings in check is the biggest thing
