I live on the third floor of an apartment building and I ordered pizza. When they get here, do I go downstairs to pick up the food, or let them come to my door?

I say just give them a tip, about 15 to 20 percent and maybe throw in an extra dollar for the walk up stairs. Also, remember to say thank you. You don't HAVE to go down to meet them. Just appreciate them for the job they do and always tip, no matter how many stairs they do or do not have to climb.

This is up to you. If your building is secure, then meet them at the main entrance.
Many times, when I was delivering food, people would meet me at the main entrance weather the building was secured or not.
Please do, however, remember to tip the driver. Many times they use their own vehicles, and they do not get paid much at all. It does put a lot of strain on a vehicle to be a delivery driver.

Let them come to your door, but also give them a tip about $3.00 should do it.
