it sounds like your skin is thin. first of all you need to build the collagen and elastin back in your skin. if you smoke, stop... this is the fastest was to deplete collagen and elastin. secondly.... you need to make sure you are drinking plenty of water. 8 glasses a day. and then you need to make sure that you are getting enough vitamin C. although vitamin C is a very unstable vitamin, so i would not recommend taking a vitamin C supplement, instead... eat an orange a day, and take a multivitamin.
topical treatments are the slowest way to help your skin..... the best thing to do is to work from the inside out. there is no miracle cream for thin skin, its probably genetics.

There is a new breakthrough therapy for varicose veins. A new image-guided technique called "vein ablation," done with radiofrequency or laser heat, now makes it easier to destroy varicose veins without surgery or the injection of chemical solutions. What's involved: guided by ultrasound, the radiologist threads a small catheter into the varicose vein. The laser is then fired briefly, which heats and seals the vein. The treatment takes less than an hour, and the patient is up and walking 20 minute later. If this treatment option doesn't appeal to you, there are 2 less common ones below.
1. Herbalists and naturopaths recommend taking a combination of ginkgo biloba and gotu kola extracts. Together, these herbs help strengthen circulation, which over time should reduce the formation of new varicose veins---during pregnancies and at other times in your life. Exercise helps too. Suggested Dose: one dropperful of a ginkgo-gotu kola extract 3 times a day. An herb shop can mix it for you, or you can combine them into a dropper bottle yourself. Allow a few months to gauge results.
2. Germany's version of the Food and Drug Administration, known as Commission E, has gone on record supporting the use of horse chestnut extract to treat varicose veins. It's believed that horse chestnut works by strengthening the cells of the capillaries. Horse chestnut extracts, at least standardized ones, are not yet widely available in North America. And the herb is too strong to leave the dosage to chance. To find the standardized extract, try a specialty herb shop, or remember to stop off at a pharmacy on your next jaunt to Europe.

Varicose Veins, or Spider Veins often appear on the legs of people who are on their feet frequently. I have a small area on one of my legs that I am concerned about, too. I was told by a nurse friend of mine that the best way to handle it, if you can't change your routine, is to wear orthopedic socks - as you are walking, it massages your legs, and keeps your blood flowing in all directions. I still haven't gone and gotten orthopedic socks - and yes, they may be ugly - but I am sure they would be worth the while, and maybe can be worn around the house, even, if you don't want to wear them during the daytime when you are out and about.

After 10 years of struggling with all sorts of creams and pills to treat this embarrassing problem I was able to get rid of my varicose veins by using natural healing methods and alternative herbal home remedies.
Read Diane Thompson's "Varicose Veins Secrets" (also available in electronic format at: http://www.varicoseveinscure.org ). By following this guide book I was able to eradicate my varicose veins pretty fast. God bless!

There are many products on the market...even at your local drugstore. I would suggest starting there & look for a tinted airbrush spray, they usually have a few selections for color. For a more permenant solution I would be happy to discuss with you further, I would need more information to be of any help. If you have tried one of the airbrush sprays already & have not found it helpful let me know & I will help you with other options & where to go for products. Good Luck!!

If you're that concerned, why not visit your Doctor to get recommendations. My wife suggests using fake tan spray. Good luck.

If you are overweight, lose some, also don't sit with your legs or ankles crossed, or sit with one foot under you. It cuts off the circulation and will cause varicose/spider veins.
