Been working in a company for about 3 months now. 5 days only that i started working, my colleague kissed me at a dinner party organised by the company. We flirted for a month after that without anything concrete happening... but became really close. 2 weeks ago we kissed again and this time it was both ways... We ve been hanging out a lot together and sharing a lot and yesterday when i asked where are we heading he said we better stop it coz we are colleagues... He did mention that the fact that we are colleague doesn't help before but then why did he continue to now tell me this??.
After we decided to stop "seeing" each other he smsed me an hour later saying he is feeling weird and strange and questioned the decision. He didn't change his decision until now...
What the hell???????? What is he up to?

I disagree with Lee B He can't be trying to be responsible otherwise he shouldn't have started at all!.
I forgot to ask; How should I react to all this?

He's trying to be "responsible" and avoid getting involved with a colleague.
Both you and he (and I) know that avoiding it is not gonna work. Good luck to you two. :-)

Sounds to me like he wants a "friends with benefits" type of relationship. His mixed messages are a red flag. Be very, very careful.
