I'm from Ohio, so I'm more familiar in picking out other fruit and vegetables. I have heard that size doesn't neccesarily mean a bountiful pomegranate, but what is it that one looks for?

that's an easy one: weight!
the heavier the fruit, the plumper and juicier the little red things (jewels?) inside!

that its not spoiled lol. i actually don't know but love the fruit. I do believe that one of the criteria is to make sure most of it is read and that its not too soft or too hard either (like regular fruit), but other then that i really don't know
