My boyfriend and I are separated for the next 2 years while we complete our studies (he is in Canada and I am in Australia).

His current flatmate is an ok guy, generally sits in his room being quiet. However, at the start of this semester, his flatmate brought his g/f to live with him and they just spend their evenings speaking loudly or getting high/drunk which is a problem for my boyfriend and his schoolwork.

There is now an option for him to move into a female friend's appartment (she will have a spare room once her current roomate leaves). She is a nice girl, quiet and very studious (always get marks in the top 5-10%) and she's got a new boyfriend. She's been very good at helping my boyfriend in the past with his studies.

My problem is he is far away and I am a little insecure about this setup. I think the chance he will cheat is low, but I am scared. Am I being silly, could this work out in a plutonic way if ther were flatmates for a year? Or is this too naive to think?

I smell trouble brewing.

guy's do basically not attempt this (properly immediately ones) because the majority in trouble-free terms take the time with the intention to get in route of you for a plausible relationship or you've a mate they imagine is more healthy and also you're the most important with the intention to get her to be conscious them. you've a boyfriend and that i doubt he will experience free if he discovered you chatting and putting out with adult men regardless of your insistence that you're basically associates. And in the adventure that they did basically deal with as basically yet another pal it would in trouble-free terms be a count number of time in the previous you began to experience a pang of jealousy that yet another female were given their interest or think with regard to the reality none of them fancy you. that is complicated and awkward yet i'd get too hung up about it yet how lots of those female associates of your bf are ex's? i guess some per chance..

Its hard to say without knowing the guy but if she is seeing someone, it shouldn't be a problem. That said though, with two years in different countries, I would be wary and prepare yourself for the fact that anything could happen over those two years, long distance relationships aren't easy and either of you could change your mind.
