I feel much better; I am much more productive at work, more outgoing throughout the day, and creative during my free time. I find that I had extra energy as well. I want to go out and do things.

I started with Wellbutrin, although your doctor may suggest something else. I had great success with this.

Do not be discouraged to tell your doctor that his first suggestion is not working. In fact a recent study said that most patients go through at least 3 medication or dosage changes before they get it right.

Please don't be put off by what I'm about to say. Any drug can cause side effects, but as with any medication, your doctor will weigh the benefits with the risks, and do what's right for you. Always do what s/he says.

Read the slip that your pharmacist gives you, and be on the lookout for side effects. This is important. One of the most serious side effects to look out for is aggressive, obsessive, and / or suicidal thoughts. If you experience anything like this, you NEED to talk to your doctor IMMEDIATELY.

You should ask your doctor for their pager number for this purpose. I have my doctor's. I'm excited for you, and good luck, e-mail me if you have any more questions by clicking on my avatar (icon.)

I have been on antidepressants for a number of years. Most antidepressants take a few weeks to kick in. And a lot of the time you have to try a lot of different kinds to determine which one is right for you. But once you and your doctor find that medication, you'll feel 100% even 200% better. Oh, about the energy level it depends what antidepressant you are on. I've been on ones that made me manic and ones that made me sleep for days.

i feel 90% better, depends on medications and the person taking them some do not work for all and all do not work for some. anxiety meds lowered my energy level atidepressants help balance that, there is a certian amount of time for a leveling out process that on the norm takes 2-6 weeks

I tried prozac for a year with no known help from it. I got xanax to take on an as needed basis and found it works fast and works fantastic to stop the panic attack or crreepy stomach or anxiety.
Now I sometimes dont have to take it, just knowing I have it is enough to help me ride out a small attack.

I have read some litterature about panic attacks. But they allways seem to have a more scientific approach and that is nothing I need in my struggle to survive those horrible panic attacks. This is a "hand on" and very practical book. I felt it was written to me. I am sure that you are going to feel the same.

Joe Barry writes exactly how I think. The examples are perfectly described. And the method is genius. I recommend this book and thanks Joe Barry for writing it. It changes your life

hullo
anti depressant therapy or drugs needs 2 to 4 weeks to reach its potential value in treatment as a rule, while anxiolytics needs hours to reach its therapeutic value, still they may cause addiction.
