I'm 22 years old, 5'7, and 127 lbs. I have a nice body, but I noticed recently some slight cellulite/cottage cheese on the back of my thighs and I don't want this. I want to tighten up back there like I used to be by June. I don't want any diet pills or things of that sort. What can I do daily that's fast and effective to rid this problem? Will riding a bike help? If so, how often should I ride?

First try dieting and doing lots of cardio a few times a week. If that doesn't work use this cream http://www.cellulite-reduction.biz

Squats, butt lifts and ham string excersises work best.

Also, you can check out Velasmooth, Endermologie and Mesotherapy.

Cellulite is caused by two things, 1) Fatty tissue and 2) Connective tissue.

The first can be taken care of primarily by diet and working out. Drink your fair share of water, don't eat too much and work out to maintain your metabolism.

The second is more problematic and gets worse as you age because collagen is not regenerated so the tissue becomes less elastic and of course most people gain weight as they age because of a less active life style and a drop in metabolism. This is where Velasmooth or mesotherapy come in handy.

Good luck.

I think I read in Cosmo or saw it on a show, but you should massage it often because that is tissue fibers pulling inward. You could look that up somewhere. Also I think walking is the best for legs. Take longer strides, it might feel silly, but it lengthens the muscle. As I have heard often on "FitTv" concentrate on the precise area you are working and you will see results quicker.

Wall sits are great workout for your thighs. To do these, put your back against a flat wall with your legs shoulder-length apart. Now, slide down the wall until your legs form a 90 degree angle and your back is still flat against the wall. Put your hands on your thighs and hold that position for as long as you can. It should look like this: http://z.about.com/d/exercise/1/0/9/M/wallsit.jpg

You could also try lunges by putting your hands on your waist and taking a large step forward. Bend your knees until your back knee is almost touching the ground, but keep your back straight like this: http://www.halhigdon.com/15Ktraining/Photos/Lunges.jpg
This excersize also works out your glutes

There is also a faster excersize that gets your blood pumping that simulates riding a bike. Stand up straight with your legs shoulder-length apart. Pull one of your legs up until your knee is level with your waist. Now put that leg down and bring your other leg up in the same position, all in one fluid movement. Repeat. It should feel like a mix between running and riding a bike. http://womenshealthmag.com/images/cma/high_knees.jpg
This excersize is kind of hard to explain, so check out this video if you still don't understand(you don't have to use the medicine ball.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fVdxily0r2E
It's a quick-feet excersize that helps me work out my thighs. You can do this excersize standing still, or add in a forward motion.

Do it as often as you like. Try to push yourself, but not so hard you hurt yourself. I do these every day at soccer practice.
Just make sure you stretch before and after all of these excersizes!
Good luck! :]

Try doing leg strengthening exercizes in that area. Also, some say that massage helps too, so maybe paying extra attention to those "problem" areas as you do lotion or shower gel, or whatever, will help too.

From the sounds of it, you are very thin as it is, so I doubt any dieting will help you.

Try building some muscle instead? ;) Best of luck!

Running. Running help a lot to tone your body, but instead of running on a flat surface, try running a trail that has some hills, so you can do some inclines. That helps a lot and work faster. Remember to drink a lot of water before running.
