you're staggering, of direction, that Jesus commanded his followers to evangelise the word of God. And he taught them the thank you to do it besides. We examine of those palms-on instructions and instructions at Luke 8:a million, Luke 9:a million-6 and Luke 10:a million. The artwork replaced into so significant that at Luke 10:2, he pronounced his followers to beg God for much extra workers simply by fact the harvest replaced into so large. His followers understood the importance of this artwork and endured with it long after Jesus’ dying. Acts 5:40 two, Acts 20:20. Jesus himself made it undeniable that the preaching replaced into of such import that it would bypass on till the top. Matthew 24:14. this is not any longer an common element to do: carry forth the stable information as Jesus commanded. relatively is that this so as quickly as we examine of attitudes which includes that discovered at Acts 4:18. probably, those ones additionally felt that the disciples and apostles have been ‘shoving it down their throats’. nevertheless, what replaced into it precisely that enabled those first century Christians to accomplish the artwork against all odds, against instructions of leaders and against the anger and hatred the disciples confronted? properly, be conscious their supplication, culminating at Acts 4:29, and God’s answer to which it leads – in Acts 4:31. it would seem that with a view to get the preaching artwork achieved as replaced into achieved via Jesus and his first century followers, one might might desire to very own what the disciples have been crammed with as referenced in Acts 4:31. without it, you will dabble at preaching the stable information, you will do it at times; you will do it for a short stretch, yet one won't be able to hold out the artwork as Matthew 24:14 describes. ought to this is then that maximum have not got what Acts 4:31 describes? It is because the way we believe, if you don't know and believe the 'truth', you will not go to heaven. I saw it once put that two people are in a burning building. One knows a safe way out, and comes to the decision of whether to tell the other person of the way to safety. This is how it is for us. We know the safe way to not go to hell, and we want to share this knowledge with everyone we know. Christ has made a HUGE impact on my life. I'm not a bible thumper. I don't go to everyone and say "Heathans!! You're going to burn in hell!!!" or things like that. I show my faith by what I do, and the people I surround myself know that I'm a Christian. That's enough "preaching" for me, as I know as preaching offends some people, and that's just not good practice to get someone to follow you.
The Great Commission:
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen. (Matthew 28:18-20)
God Bless

We are told to tell the truth acording to Gods word. The Apostle Paul warned that the last days would bring a marked increase in false teaching. “In the latter times, some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils” (1 Timothy 4:1). The last days are described as “perilous times” because of the increasingly evil character of man and people who actively “resist the truth” (2 Timothy 3:1-9; see also 2 Thessalonians 2:3).

That would be all fine and good. But who gets to decide what 'The Word of God' is? Don't tell me it's the Bible. That book is so full of holes, inconsistencies, inaccuracies and downright horrible passages that no rational, educated person believes it to be any more divinely inspired than the World Book Encyclopedia.
Don't get me wrong: there are some wonderful things in the Bible. But they are outweighed not only by the horrible/laughable, but also by the way 'christians' use the bible as a blunt object to beat people over the head with.
I have a very hard time believing the Creator of the Universe would insist on a word-for-word, dogged dedication to ANY book. Let alone a book with as checkered a past as 'the holy bible.'
Sorry. The bible just ain't the word of God.

If you are looking for a set order from JC to the followers of the new cov. to go forth and convert then your going to be looking for quite a while. like most aspects of the christian faith the "mission" aspects are more about emulation of the apost. and Jc himself then about following a set instruction that says "go and convert anything that moves".
In the bible the letters and acts give us the reader a clear message that its good to go out and save souls... but in the gosp. the messages are more commonsence and far less active evangelical. Love thy neighbor not preach till your blue in the face is what we see and hear from jesus... like just about all of the mono. faiths the text of christ. tells us much about how to live but in truth tells us not to judge, critisise or confront those who's opinions differ... i guess the eagerness to expand the faith has created a convertion myth that is most commonly adhered to by christians themselfs.. even if the actual words of chriest as related in the gosples suggest that active conversion is hardly that important while living a good life is.

Mark 16:15
The Greek word is kErussO proclaim (proclaim-ye) 2784
There are other verses showing Jesus' disciples doing exactly that, Mark 16:19.
However, my favorite is Acts 28:31.
Here is a question: How does (note present tense) Jesus teach the word of God?
