Yes of course its beautiful! Anyone who wants to see Scotland at its most beautiful doesn't have to look hard, there is such a diverse varied landscape, with unique beautiful locations all throughout the country!

Along the west coast North of Glasgow Loch Lomand National Park is stunning, North of which is a dramatic coast with thousands of islands to be explored. In the Western Isles there is Crystal clear water with beaches so spectacular you could easily confuse them with a tropical beach, (if it wasn't for the weather).

The vast Cairngorns National Park is the biggest in the UK and a haven for wildlife. The glens and Mountains are rugged and breathtaking. Many major rivers cut through the mountain range, including the River Spey in the North, which has the best salmon fishing locations in the UK. The valley goes straight through the heart of the Cairngorns and is also the home to Speyside Whisky. Nearly all of the most famous Scotch Whiskys come from this picturesque area.

Not to mention the stunning landscape surrounding Inverness in the far North and beyond, which includes the famous Loch Ness. There are vast Forests and heather covered glens which stretch for miles! Along the east coast, vast lynx land (sand dunes), stretches for miles along the coast. Which is where Scots were inspired to invent Golf.

The capital Edinburgh has truly breathtaking architecture and is worth the visit alone. The old town and new town are World heritage sites, and are truly a unique. The festival in August is the best time to visit.

There is no doubt its a beautiful country, a must see!

Beautiful.
The shores, rivers, buildings, mountains. The contrast between the south, the central belt, the East and the highlands. The fact that you can find modernity and ancient together. The various colours from the buildings in Tobermory to the White harled buildings in the East neuk to the red standstone and the granite grey and the colours of the landscape in the different seasons. The beautiful weather - the hot Mays and the smell of the ground after a shower, the wind bringing a tang of the sea and the smell of crisp snow and rainy Glasgow christmases and the christmas lights.
I love it and miss it.

I personally haven't ventured that far up North. The farthest I did go was the Lake District and that was breath taking.

However, I have seen many pictures about the nature of Scotland and it does look absolutely wonderful. I have also met many Scots and they were all sincere people.

So I would definitely say that Scotland is more than beautiful and it is definitely on my travel list!

I completely think Scotland is beautiful...even when I went in November and it was simply rainy and grey and windy and my umbrella kept flipping inside out and my little rental car would shake as it was parked on the side of the street. The nights are clear and the scenery amazing. I would love to go back and explore more...

Yes. I have only seen pictures, and what they show on the tv, but it looks so beautiful. I have always wanted to travel over there, and I will. I love the history of it. And, I think the scottish accent is so sexy on a man!

I only saw Glasgow, Skye and the long drive between, but I'd say the city is drab, the mountains are beautiful, and there are altogether too many bees -
