It dose'nt matter as long as the other person is over 18 yrs old.

Depending on maturity, probably 18/19 up to 26/27. But a lot depends on life experience. For example, a 22 year-old who has a child and/or has worked full time for a living is going to relate more to people in their late 20's and early 30's. Where a 22 year-old who finished high school and went to college and never had to support themselves will be more compatible with later teens to early twenties.

If you're male, 18-25, with empasis on the 19-22 year olds. Having a few years on a female usually matches up the maturity level a little better. Rare is the man who is as mature as the women his own age.
If you're female, 22-28, with emphasis on the 24-27 year olds for the same reasons.

I'm 22 as well and I would say not over 29(above that, the guy is typically just in a different place in life), but over 18. Whoever makes you happy! I used to have a rule about only dating older guys, but I'm now totally and completely happy with my current boyfriend who is 2.5 years my junior. Be open and it just might pay off!

Probably 18-30.
But it really doesn't matter about age gaps.
So whether you date a 14 year old or a 50 year old...it really doesn't matter as long as you love the person.
oh...and if you do date someone under 18...well....keep it Innocent.

The law concerning minors varies from state to state, but in general it is legal and appropriate to date someone within 5 years of your age, you have the greatest likelyhood of finding someone who is at a similar emotional and social maturity level near your own age.
