well if there testing for everything it will show up , just because docs say there taking your blood for this and that doesnt mean that the test stops there , but its the main reason for the test therefore should be the only thing on the record , they may like i saidf test for the reasons why your thyroid level or what ever is this wasy etc so yes the thc may show up but it depends on the doctors order when its submitted to the lab , the doc can oreder the procedure to be done then its put into a computter and sent to lab tec /flowbotomist to draw the blood once dran the blood is sent to a lab and the processed according to docs oreders but addetinal test on your blood is not uncommmon ands should not be ruled out , but rember its patient cofedetiality , unless work related injury , or pregnant

Hi, i wasnt really sure on this so i checked for you and this is the best answer i got for you..

Question:
Blood drawn for thyroid test...
About 30 days ago, i smoked pot for the first time and i only did a very little amount. Today when I went to the doctor I had to get blood taken for them to check something dealing with my thyroid. I was wondering if they would be able to detect my use of the drug when they test my blood?

Answer:
I don't want to give you a false sense of security. 30-90 days later a test can still come up positive for THC. THC and its metabolites stay in the blood for days and in the fatty deposits of the body much longer. About 30% of THC that is ingested may remain in the body a full week after smoking. Some remnants from a single dose of THC may be detectable up to three weeks later.

Hope this helps and maybe you should put off the test for a month and not smoke..
Just a suggestion..
Good Luck
Deb

It would be a violation of you 4th Amendment rights (against illegal search and seizure) to drug test you without your Informed Consent Signature. So the answer is No. Unless you signed a form acknowledging the "Drug Test"

NO. They have to do a test for THC, won't show up if it's just for other medical reasons.
