RE:
Can I take Sudafed PE and Tylenol Extra Strength together?

As long as you look at the ingredients and there is nothing that is the same, yes.

For example, many preparations of Sudafed will include the active ingredient of Tylenol Extra Strength. However, if it's just straight Sudafed PE (phenylephrine 10mg), then you can take the Tylenol ES too.

As long as you don't have high blood pressure, it shouldn't be a problem.

And the ingredients in each one are as follows:
Sudafed PE: Phenolephrine (usually 10mg)
Tylenol Extra Strength: Acetimenaphen (usually 500mg)

[Tylenol sinus is simply a combination of these two, unless you buy it from a pharmacy directly, in which it then has pseudoephedrine (brand name: Sudafed) instead of Sudafed PE.]

As long as there isn't Asetometaphin in the Sudafed PE you're ok. Tylenol overdose can cause serious liver problems.

Yes. I believe Sudafed is just a decongestant. To be on the safe side check the box to make sure the Sudafed doesn't contain any Acetaminophen.

Call Walgreens Pharmacy for any advice on drugs. It's alwyas free and pretty safe.

You can always ask a Dr., too.

My wife is a medical assistant and there doesn't seem to be a problem but, again, she's not a Dr. or a Pharmacist.

Help for muscle pain... Muscles can have knots (trigger points) that make them tight which in turn put pressure on nerves and other things causing pain.
Molasses - a couple of swigs or Bananas 1 or 2 - both contain magnesium and potassium for muscles.
Try working with the principles taught in The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies.
