I've heard that rats are seen as holy in Hinduism. Are there any gods or godesses that take the form of a rat? Also, what sacred concepts surround the rat in Hinduism?

God do not need to change His Form nor God can Die and can not be crucified either.
If and If God can be killed by some one that means god has limited power, then that personality is not God but some thing less then God.
God is unique and creator of every thing including universes and every thing in/on universes.
God is the super power, and can be less then God.
That means He do need to become less then God, kike man, animal, or any other form or shape.
For example a man make a VCR. that does not means, he has to become VCR to diagnose problem in VCR. Man makes an operational manual or manual for repair and he or others to follow those instructions given in manual.
Just lie that God Almighty created this universes and gave us Holy Book through Moses, Davis, Jesus, and Muhammad(Peace be upon all of them) to follow not to fight.
