Alright, i've liked this girl for a while and i have known her for a couple months, and it appears as though she likes me back. I hung out with her and her friend last night, and she gave me positive signs all night. Then..to my surprise, her friend told me she has a bf. I asked her about it and she said that she just recently got a bf. Here is my question...should i just lay off and wait out this hopefully short relationship? or continue going for her?

Go after what you want. It's up to her to tell you to back off.

be straightforward and say, "look - i don't know what's goin on but you probably know this, i really like you. The signals you've been giving me, gave me the idea you might have felt the same way. You're friend said you have a boyfriend. As a gentleman, I'm going to lay off, but if you're interested, tell me now and if you're not, i'll be gone." - something like that .

I say lay off. Most self-respecting girls would be turned off by a guy that pursued her despite the fact that she's taken. And if she's in the early stages of a relationship, the odds are stacked against you.

You just need to kinda tell her how you feel. If she want's you to leave her alone i'm sure she'll tell you. Other than that she must not have been too interested in you to start with if she just out of the blue went out and got a boyfriend. I wouldn't be too brokeup over this if it doesn't go too far. Good luck though.

Lay off and wait it out. If she wanted to be with you, she would be.

look for someone else...her friend seems to be nice...she seems honest..she told you the truth ..instead of you going for a girl that is taken..and then getting rejected..and maybe looking and/or feeling like a fool.

You're in the Friend Zone. Forget her.
