Long story short. Im in love with this guy. We have known each other for around 5 years. We have been torn apart and reunited through circumstances. We have never done anything for holidays or birthdays. But I think we are growing closer. I emailed him the other day and wished him Happy Birthday. It touched him, and I think it showed that I care. He doesn't really like to celebrate birthdays or holidays (he is ENTP for all you personality peeps, and he is 15 years older than me). I already bought this really nice simple card (which all of my coworkers love and are pushing me to give). Should I give it to him when I see him tomorrow? or should I just leave it at the email. I don't want to overshadow the thought with some cheesy gesture. I know that I am probably one of the only people who remembered his Birthday and I know he wasn't expecting that. What should I do?

Aside from you liking this guy, you are also his friend for five years. Give him the card. He will appreciate your kind gesture.

Don't ever over think a gesture that will make another person feel good about themselves! But just give him the card expecting nothing in return except for a polite "thank you."

It depends on what you hope to accomplish by sending him the birthday card. If he is involved with someone else, it may make the situation uncomfortable, depending on what the card says.
Maybe you should just ask him out on a date for a birthday dinner or something. Get it out in the open and quit lolligagging around.

Nothing wrong with leaving a card. Showing that someone remembers your Birthday is special I don't care who you are. LOL

Men love being the recipient of gifts, especially since they are usually the one being pressured into buying them. Bottom line ~ you're in love with this man so show it! You can NEVER show someone that you love them too much.
