I am refusing to pay any hospital bills because the illegals don't have to. I am tired of them getting away with everything & this is my act of civil disobedience. Join me & spread the revolution! Come on, I know ya wanna.

You sure do. If you were under a "supervised watch" for 12 hours, I'd say somebody had reason to believe you presented a threat to your own safety or the safety of others. On that basis, the detention was put in place.
Ultimately we're all responsible for our actions.. and the consequences of those actions...

Of course you do.
I see it like this. If the ER wants to prove the legitimacy of the bill, they show that you were there and that you received treatment for a grand total of x$.
Your defense was, I was held against my will and given treatment against my will. Well, you're gonna hafta prove that defense. It will be difficult especially if the hospital says that without treatment you would have suffered several physical trauma.
pay the bill or hire an attorney to fight it and pay him and the bill...

Not if you were forced to stay but you will have to challenge the bill under whatever steps are required under their policy.

A person is not required to pay for a stay that is enforced against his will. It is even a violation of the right of liberty.

It depends on who forced you and why? If it was a legit reason for your forced stay, then you are going to be liable for the charges.
