Definitely too old, honey. Besides, it's illegal for you two to be together. He'll go to jail for being with you and be permanently labeled as a sex offender. The fact that he is willing to risk that demonstrates that he is reckless. Not a good person to have a relationship with.

If you don’t feel comfortable going out with him you can turn him down but if you find that he is a nice chap and would like to befriend him, you can ask your friend alone with the outing.

If you feel comfortable dating this guy, then go for it! He is a little older though, so set boundries to where you feel comfortable and make sure he knows them.
