I just got it and I'm used to photoshop. I want to know how to get rid of red-eye on it and how to make the brush size larger than 19. Among others. Thanks.

For Red Eye removal there are a few plugins like http://registry.gimp.org/plugin?id=4212
Install this plugin and you have a menu Filter -> Misc -> Auto red Eye Remover
