We've kissed and almost had sex once. He has NOT lied from day 1. He's had sex with other women & told me about it. The other women tell me that I'm different because they are only sex with him and that's what he says too. We are different b/c its not about sex with us. We're friends first and just genuinely care for one another. He doesn't tell the other girls anything at all about him. One didn't even know his name. We won't sleep with each other b/c he had a gf and I didn't want to get hurt even more. I've figured out the hard way that just b/c you're not sleeping with someone doesn't mean that your not involved with them. I have completely fallen in love with him. He doesn't want to hurt me so we are just friends but even that hurts at times. I know he cares a lot about me but I'm afraid that if I don't stop talking to him then I'm only going to fall harder for him. I don't know if I can trust him. I'm 5 yrs old than him (30 & 25) so he still has time to grow up. Help

I think you should take a few weeks to yourself to collect your thoughts and really think about what you want in your life. It seems that he respects you enough to not treat you like the other girls, which is ultimately cool and "friend-like" of him. He's not ready to settle down, at least not right now. If he was, he wouldn't be out hounding other women. It wont stop just because you tell him you love him. You'll only set yourself up for more hurt. If you don't even know if you can trust him, assume that you can't. Your intuition will tell you when it's okay to trust. One thing you should consider is whether his presence in your life is hurting more than it feels good. Don't try to change him or the situation. Accept it as it is and decide realistically whether or not it hurts more than it feels good, just as it is, or the other way around.

Unfortunately it is very likely that he would remain promiscuous, or return to it after a short while, even if you did start a relationship with him. If you are accepting of this truly with all your heart then it is worth attempting because if you and he are great for each other he may eventually settle down with you. If you could not handle him sleeping with other women while you were a couple then you should definitely cool it off with him for a while and live your own separate sexual/loving life until he stopped being a dog.

Good luck!!

He is not worth the worry. He is having sex with how many different people and has a gf. Do I have to say more. What makes you think that once he is in a relationship with you for a few months that he will wander away to a few dozen other girls.

I can only hand down a piece of advice that I have heard from many people. If they will cheat with you they will cheat on you. That is one to live by. I have seen many people get bitten in the a$$ in the long run thanks to that saying.

If you've fallen for him, then why would you not pursue a relationship? I feel like you're asking a stupid question, this is the chance you've been waiting for.

you have to take some risk either ways. you can always give a chance but talk to him about your concerns and tell him nicely that u would rather see him much more responsible and also put a timeframe...
