I'd guess either a shot glass or a small snifter. Not sure though.

Premium scotches, whiskies go in snifters...as well as drambuie, cognac, after dinner sambuca etc etc..

Rum is served in a rocks glass ( short & stout based glass )...the same glass you'd serve a basic mixed drink in Iike rum/coke, rye/ginger etc..they're usually used for two (or less) ingredients.

Neat is a way of serving-not chilled....snifter---straight-up is chilled and a shot glass will do

I just always thought of rum as being served in a cocktail of some sort. I've never seen anyone drink it straight.

Collins, Highball, Cocktail (Martini), Old Fashioned, or a Shot Glass depending on the Drink you are preparing.

The first rule of rum is this, Clear is for mix drinks and dark is for strait. shot glasses

I've drank Captain's Private stock neat in a whiskey glass.

Worked well.
